It is so important for each of us to understand how our unconscious biases might unintentionally result in unfavorable behaviors towards others; especially those that may differ from us in some way shape or form.

Also, those biases can show up in unfavorable responses to situations or events that occur.

For educators, and others involved with our young students, it becomes even more critical to understand our own unconscious biases. This video is about the experience of a school district that chose to be proactive in training and coaching.
